The Outer Banks Fishing Pier is well known for its great fishing and family atmosphere. Located in South Nags Head, it is the fishing pier nearest to Oregon Inlet. 600 feet of fishing that can land you anything from a sea mullet to a cobia. The pier is open 24 hours a day during peak season. Our historic pier has been serving fishermen for over 50 years!
In the pier house you will find a stocked tackle shop with all your fishing needs. Bait, lures, rods & reels are all available for purchase inside of the Pier House. Our oceanfront restaurant is open for breakfast (grab & go), lunch, and dinner for take out if you want to grab a bite to eat while fishing on the pier. NO FISHING LICENSE IS REQUIRED to fish on our pier. We DO offer Senior Citizens' Discounts. No Tackle? No Problem, we have everything you need to get fishing.
